Prototype to production
You, or someone in your company, has built something with AI, in Claude, Lovable, Cursor or v0, and it works. It does the job for the person who built it and it has proved the idea is worth taking seriously. Now other people need to rely on it.
That is the point where a prototype and a finished system part company. The parts AI tools tend to skip are the ones that matter once something is in daily use: who can see and change what, payments that can't be taken twice, what happens when two people edit the same record, backups, and what it does when something goes wrong. That's the work I do. I keep what you've built, the product, the screens and the decisions you've already made, and rebuild what's underneath so it will hold.
What I keep, what I rebuild
The prototype has already decided what the product is and how it should feel, and that stays. What gets rebuilt is the foundation: the database, login and permissions, payments, and a structure that won't need throwing away as more people use it.
How it starts
Send me the link. I'll go through it and tell you what it would take, as a fixed price rather than a day rate, and where the risks are. Sometimes the honest answer is to carry on by yourself for a while, and if so I'll say that and tell you what to watch out for.
Why me for this
I build with the same AI tools you prototyped with, so I can read what you made and keep its intent. What I add is an experienced developer who understands the code, rather than just the prompt that produced it, and can make the judgement calls on the harder questions.
