Admin systems
The screens your team uses all day to run the company: customers, jobs, bookings, invoices, whatever it is you keep track of. One place where all of it lives, instead of a spreadsheet that only one person understands and a few off-the-shelf tools that don't talk to each other.
Plenty of small companies run on a mixture like that. It works, but it takes longer than it should and it's fragile. A custom admin system is built around how you actually work, so the screens match the job and the repetitive parts are handled by the system rather than by a person. It can be built in stages, and you own it at the end.
What this looks like
A single view of your customers, orders, projects or members, with the history and documents attached. Lists you can search, filter and export. Reports that come from the live data rather than from someone's spreadsheet. Permissions, so people see what they need to. Connections to the tools you keep, such as your accounts package, email or calendar, so data goes in once.
Designed to be used all day
Admin screens are often the worst part of a piece of software and the part people use most. I build them to be quick, clear and pleasant to work in, because your team will spend more time looking at them than anyone spends looking at your website.
Who this is for
Small companies whose way of working doesn't fit the software that's available, or who are paying for a product and using a fraction of it. I've built systems like this for travel and events companies, publishers and financial firms, and you work with me directly from the first conversation to handover.
